Padel Court Co.

Schools & venues

Courts for schools, clubs and venues.

What suits depends on the site and how it will be used. How it's owned and funded is a separate decision — and often the first one to settle.

Schools & colleges

A shared facility, planned around the school day.

Some schools fund and own their courts. On suitable sites, a funded or shared partnership may be possible instead, with community use outside school hours helping to support the facility — always subject to agreed terms.

School use
Daytime PE, clubs and enrichment, with pupils given priority when they need the courts.
Community access
Public bookings outside agreed school hours, if the school wants them.
Safeguarding
Separate access routes where possible, controlled entry and clear supervision.
Responsibilities
Who opens, maintains and takes bookings is agreed in writing before opening.

Tennis clubs & sports centres

Underused hard courts may suit conversion, subject to assessment of the base, levels and drainage. Works are planned around an active club, with booking and access integrated where agreed.

Questions we're often asked

Does a school or club have to fund the courts?
Not always. On suitable sites a funded or shared partnership may be possible, subject to feasibility and a formal agreement. Compare ownership routes.
Can works happen during school holidays?
The heaviest works can often be planned for holidays, subject to permissions, supply and site access.
Will we need planning permission?
Plan for an application and confirm the position with the local planning authority. Costs & planning guide.
